Worshipping at Kure Memorial!
“Shout to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs!” (Psalm 100:1-2)
Worship the Lord! That’s what Christians do.
We love God and we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving.
come before him with joyful songs!” (Psalm 100:1-2)
Worship the Lord! That’s what Christians do.
We love God and we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving.
Each Sunday at Kure Memorial, we gather for worship at 10:00 AM to share God’s word, sing for joy, offer our prayers and celebrate Holy Communion!
A children’s time is always incorporated in worship, because, as Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these!” (Mark 10:15) We love to hear their voices among us! (a nursery is available if families have that need.) We love children and we welcome and encourage families to participate in worship with us! Children are an integral part of our worship life together as a community! We have worship bags available at the entrance to the sanctuary to keep them busy when they a little “antsy”! Everyone is welcome to come forward to the table for Holy Communion, to receive Christ through the healing power of his body and blood. If you have children who do not receive Holy Communion at this time, you are encouraged to bring them forward to receive a blessing. We also gather on Wednesday evenings at 7pm out on the beach at the end of Avenue F in Kure Beach, beginning the Wednesday after Memorial Day through September for our seasonal beach worship experience! Bring your beach chair, blanket or beach towel and join us for a relaxed, meaningful time of worship in God’s most beautiful sanctuary with prayer, praise music, a scripture passage and reflection and Holy Communion each week! |
Our musical style is a blend of more contemporary songs and traditional hymns that reflect the themes of the day as well as our community of faith!
We invite you to worship with us! Following worship, our fellowship continues in our fellowship hall with food, coffee and conversation. Please join us! |
